CSKA Moscow: Theodoros Papaloukas, Aleksey Savrasenko and Matjaz Smodis did not fly to play Tau, while Ramunas Siskauskas traveled despite missing the last domestic game. Savrasenk will be out for 5 weeks due to a dislocated shoulder. Smodis and Papaloukas others are day to day with ankle injuries, although this is the third game out for Smodis. As such, expect Marcus Goree, David Andersen and J.R. Holden to see their playing time extended against Tau.
Tau Ceramica: Big man Linton Johnson already made his Euroleague debut and will be available in the game against CSKA. Tau is on a four-game winning streak, as top gun Igor Rakocevic has averaged 19.5 points on 21-for-26 two-pointers in those four games. Mirza Teletovic is the third rebounder in the competition (9.2 rpg.).
Olympiacos: Good news for the Reds, as Lynn Greer, Jake Tsakalidis and Loukas Mavrokefalidis are all recovered and ready to face Zalgiris Kaunas. As such, coach Pini Gershon has its entire roster available other than Sofoklis Schortsianitis, out all season so far. Arvydas Macijauskas was the Euroleague's Week 5 MVP with a 41 index.
Prokom: Prokom Trefl has no significant injuries for its game against Montepaschi Siena. Jovo Stanojevic is the new big man from Prokom Trefl and had 9 points and 6 rebounds against Olympiacos last week. Milan Gurovic, however, went scoreless in Athens. Center Tomas Van den Spiegel is fifth in rebounds (8.6 rpg.), third in blocks (1.6 bpg.) and ninth in the index ranking stands (20.0 per game).
Union Olimpija:Union Olimpija will be without center Mirza Begic, who has a knee injury, while top scorer Marko Milic is expected to play even though he has missed practices with an ankle injury. Saso Ozbolt remains out long-term. Olimpija comes off a 23-point Adriatic League loss against Partizan Igokea. Other than Milic, (15.8 ppg.), only two other players, Jasmin Hukic (12.2 ppg.) and Ronnie Taylor (11 ppg., 46.2% 3FG), average double digits in scoring.
Zalgiris: Eurelijus Zukauskas, who missed a game, will travel to Athens but is still doubtful to play against Olympiacos. Despite injury concerns, Michael Bradley had 13 points and 6 rebounds in his Euroleague debut in Moscow last week. He is considered healthy now. Dejuan Collins leads the league in assists (5.4 apg.) and is also one of the top rebounding guards (4.4 rpg.) in the competition. .
Montepaschi Siena:Montepaschi stays unstoppable in the Italian League (11-0) and has no significant injuries entering its game against Prokom Trefl Sopot. Playmaker Terrell McIntyre leads the league in steals (2.8 spg.) and is also third in assists (4.6 apg.). Ksystof Lavrinovic (15.4 ppg.) and Rimantas Kaukenas (14.6 ppg.) stay as the team's top scorers.
VidiVici Bologna: Virtus added point guard Donnie McGrath to its roster, which is fully healthy for this week's game against Montepaschi. McGrath already had 5 points in 14 minutes against Montepaschi Siena last week. Delonte Holland in the Euroleague's fourth top scorer (21.3 ppg.) while Dewarick Spencer is 12th (16.8 ppg.) in the scorers list.
GROUP B
Unicaja: German Gabriel will not play against Lietuvos Rytas due to a sprained knee that will keep him out two weeks. Marcus Haislip is still sidelined due to a knee injury, while long-term injured Alfonso Sanchez is unavailable, too. With Haislip and Gabriel sidelined, expect Carlos Jimenez, Daniel Santiago and Boniface Ndong to see extended playing time in the big game for the top spot in Group B.
Maccabi Elite: Maccabi Elite is still without Nikola Vujcic, due to miss at least two more games, and without Tal Burstein, who may miss the entire season, both with knee problems. Lior Eliyahu and Derrick Sharp led Maccabi last week each with 12 points. Esteban Batista shined again with 9 points and 4 rebounds off the Maccabi bench.
Efes Pilsen: Rashad Wright travelled to Thessaloniki for the game against Aris TT Bank and could debut this week, sharing point guard duties with Scoonie Penn and Ender Arslan. Drew Nicholas left the game against Lietuvos Rytas with a sprained ankle, but he is fully recovered and ready to face Aris, as he had 32 points in a Turkish League game this weekend.
Aris TT Bank: Coach Gordon Herbert has his entire roster available for his team's game against Efes Pilsen, including Jeremiah Massey, who ranks fourth in the index ranking standings (23.2 per game). Bracey Wright had 16 points against Armani Jeans Milano last week while Reyshawn Terry ties for the 10th place in steal (2 spg.).
Cibona: Other than Goran Vrbanc, Cibona has its entire roster available for the game against Le Mans. Larry Ayuso (15.4 ppg.) leads the team in scoring with Chris Warren (13.4 ppg.) right behind him. Tre Kelley had 16 points off the Cibona bench against Maccabi while Sam Hoskin had a solid game with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
Le Mans: Coach Vincent Collet has a full squad available for its game against Cibona, but Le Mans has only used 9 players in the competition. Nicolas Batum, Luka Bogdanovic, Alain Koffi and Sam Clancy have started in all 5 games. Clancy (13.8 ppg., 7.4 rpg.) has been its biggest scoring reference this far. Nebojsa Bogavac had 18 points against Unicaja last week.
Lietuvos Rytas: Other than veteran playmaker Roberts Stelmahers, Lietuvos Rytas has its entire roster available for the big game against Unicaja. Hollis Price (19 ppg., 4 apg.) and Marijonas Petravicius (16.6 ppg, 7.4 rpg.) have led the team in its amazing start of the Euroleague season. L. Rytas comes off its first loss this season, 70-77 against Efes Pilsen. Price shined again with 25 points in 35 minutes.
Armani Jeans Milano: Despite its many roster moves and the fact that Massimo Bulleri suffered an ankle injury expected to last 3 months, Armani Jeans Milano registered its first win on the road against Aris TT Bank. Dusan Vukcevic paced Milano with 21 points while Ansu Sesay and Melvin Booker each added 16 in the club's first Euroleague win this season.
GROUP C
Panathinaikos: The Greens travel to meet Fenerbahce Ulker without Dimitris Diamantidis and with Sani Becirovic doubtful from a knee injury. The Greens tied the Euroleague record with 123 points against Chorale Roanne last week. Andrija Zizic led Panathinaikos with 26 points on 10-for-10 two-pointers in just 23 games. Demos Dikoudis had 18 while Vassilis Spanoulis added 17 in Roanne. The Greens have released playmaker Milos Vujanic this week.
AXA FC Barcelona: Alex Acker is finding his game rhythm, as he had 9 points in 9 minutes against Real Madrid. Jaka Lakovic had a monster game last week with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Lakovic averages 15.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4 assists so far. Only Mario Kasun (12.6 ppg.) has an average score of double digits. Its leading rebounder, Ersan Ilyasova, only grabs 4.4 per game.
Partizan: Partizan has its entire roster available for the game against Brose Baskets but Cedomir Vitkovac is set to play with a mask due to a broken nose while Dejan Borovnjak is still battling physical problems. Nikola Pekovic is second the index ranking standings (27) and is also the Euroleague's third top scorer (21.4 ppg.).
Lottomatica Roma: Forwards Simone Bagnoli and Erik Daniels, despite recent hand injuries, are considered recovered and likely to be available against Barcelona. iChristian Drejer is once again unlikely to do so because of his ankle injury. Erazem Lorbek (16.6 ppg., 50% 3FG, 6 rpg.) is having a career season, while Jon Stefansson (16.6 ppg.) is also unstoppable so far. Roko Ukic is fifth in assists (4.4 apg.).
Fenerbahce Ulker: Coach Bogdan Tanjevic has his entire roster available for the game against Panathinaikos. Will Solomon is the fifth top scorer in the competition (21 ppg.) and ranks second in assists (4-8 apg.). Mirsad Turkcan (10.2 rpg.) ranks second in rebounds and will soon become the first Euroleague player to pull down 1,000 boards since the competition started in 2000.
Real Madrid: Real Madrid has its entire roster available. Madrid rallied from a 19-point deficit against AXA FC Barcelona but could not escape with a win. Felipe Reyes had 16 points while Louis Bullock added 14 in that game in Barcelona. Charles Smith (46.2% 3FG), Axel Hervelle (46.2% 3FG) and Raul Lopez (45.5% 3FG) are really effective from the three-point line.
Brose Baskets: Brose Baskets stays as the lowest-scoring team (61 ppg.) in the competition. Only Ademola Okulaja (12.2 ppg.) and Predrag Suput (10.4 ppg.) average double digits in scoring, as Brose Baskets is still looking for its first win. Darren Fenn shined in last week's game against Fenerbahce with 18 points. Okulaja led Brose Baskets with 20.
Chorale Roanne Basket: Chorale Roanne has its entire roster available but is ready to add at least a new player in the upcoming weeks. Marc Salyers had 17 points against Panathinaikos and stays as the Euroleague's top scorer at 22.4 points per game. Playmaker Marc-Antoine Pellin ranks 11th in assists at 3.8 points per game, as the team faces Real Madrid this week.
