Ana celebrates birthday with thrilling win

In a match that began on her 20th birthday and ended in the early hours of the following morning, Ana overcame world No.2 Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 in her first ever match at the Sony Ericsson Championships.
It was an enthralling match that Ana, who at No.4 is the joint-highest ranked season-ending championships debutant ever, had started sensationally. After 40 minutes she had two break points to go 4-0 up in the second set, having dazzled during the first. Kuznetsova came back, and also reversed a 3-0 deficit in the final set, before Ana courageously closed out a memorable victory,
Ana, looking resplendent in her new cyan blue adidas dress, raced into a quick lead, breaking the Russian in a tough 12-point opening game. Her confidence was apparent, and her lead was quickly stretched to 4-1 with a second break.
The 20-year-old was blasting winners to all corners of the court and attacking the net with great relish. The first set was soon wrapped up 6-1 in only 28 minutes, after a fourth Kuznetsova double fault, called by Hawkeye after Ana's challenge.
During the opening set the world No.4 conceded only one point on serve, and ruthlessly crushed the Russian's second serve, winning 73 per cent of the points on them – many happy returns indeed!
There was little sign of the drama still to unfold as Ana raced into a quick 3-0 lead in the second set. At 15-40 she had a further two break point chances and after another two crushing forehand it seemed as though the match was gift-wrapped.
However, it was the beginning of a remarkable fight back from the Russian.
After saving the game, the No.2 seed reeled off another four successive games as finally Ana's level began to drop, and what earlier were winners began to change to unforced errors.
Kuznetsova eventually closed out the set 6-4 after saving a break point, to level the match at a set all.
Ana shrugged off the disappointment quickly, surging into a 3-0 lead at the beginning of the deciding set. However, no sooner had an Ana victory been back on the cards, than Kuznetsova once more showed her determination to spoil the party. The score was quickly pulled back to 3-3 in some hard-fought rallies, then 4-4, then 5-5.
The fourth seed saved a break point and then a lovely drop shot winner enabled her to edge ahead again to 6-5, and suddenly the pressure seemed too much for Kuznetsova.
A missed backhand down the line, a wild forehand error from midcourt and an over-hit forehand, and suddenly the birthday girl was presented with three match points. A clutch return from Ana finally blew out the candles on the contest, breaking the Russian for the sweetest of victories in two hours and 16 minutes.

oggi jelena ha perso maluccio 6-2 6-2 , ma non immagini quantye occasioni ha avuto, più di un'ora e mezza di match per 6-2 6-2, Jelena è consapevole di avere il tennis giusto, mancava solo un pò di approccio al torneo!

a una cosa, quando hai tempo dai un occhio a come fa il matto sto qua (parte finale del video):

aggiornamenti: primo match tra mazzo e Rebnat che si conclude con un nulla di fatto per l'onestà di mazzo 
partita a senso unico dominata da Rebnat dall'inizio alla fine, che però viene a mancare sul più bello (connessione saltata?), cioè prima di fare il matto. A quel punto potevo vincere la partita per abbandono e rovinare il bel 0 nella casella LOSE di reb, ma non l'ho fatto
