Glentoran will go into Thursday's Uefa Cup qualifying round first leg against Brann Bergen without seven members of their first team squad.
Mark Glendinning, Gary Smyth, Cullen Feeney, Darren Lockhart and Peter McCann will all miss the game because they are out of the country.
In addition, captain Paul Leeman is suspended while Gary Browne will miss the game because of a knee injury.
On the plus side, Ryan Berry and Colin Nixon look likely to be available.
Nixon has recovered well from a back injury and was involved in last Saturday's friendly defeat against TNS.
Berry was forced to go off in the game against TNS because of injury but the problem is not believed to be serious and he should be in contention for selection.
Manager Millar acknowledges that his understrength team will be up against it against the Norwegians. "They are a typical Scandinavian side, very strong and of course, they are full-time as well," said Millar. "They are halfway through their season and have a lot of international players in their squad."
eason makes them appealing against a Glentoran side depleted of first line up players.
