Farum is trying to get out of a bankrupt, while Aarhus got a moneyman in the back that is supplying money and players.
Could this affect the mood of the players?
How is actually the situation in Farum?
Any news abt the squads?
I know that it is the 1st match after the winter break but the Aarhus win is at 3 and over.
Farum's destiny will be decided within the next couple of weeks. It is hard to say how the situation will affect the players and I wouldn't base my prediction on it. In Belgium this season and in Denmark last season we have seen that clubs in financial crisis have managed good results.
Still, this game is interesting. AGF have been a huge disappointment so far - in fact, they have done nothing but disappoint their fans the last few seasons...The club's declared aim is now to avoid relegation. AGF have a very talented side, which I believe finally have a chance of fulfilling their potential now that expectations are lower.
In the winter break, they have stregthened the weakest part of the team, the defence, with the signing of American international Wade Barrett (left back). Besides, former Danish league top scorer Peter Graulund from Bochum have joined AGF.
Farum (newcomers) are a very unpredictable, yet very interesting team. They have yet not drawn a game this season! (9-0-9, 26-35). Even though they are six places above AGF in the table, the difference between the teams is just five points. As I said above, it is hard to say how the current financial crisis will influence Farim's performance here. The only thing we know is that they have been prohibited from signing any new players in the winter break. Besides, they couldn't afford to arrange a training camp.
