I am from Bergen...He will not get a contract with Brann at the moment. He is sent back to Romania. He played a frendly match against the third division team, Askà¸y(Where I live). Then Mjelde and the other coaches said that he didn`t impressed them. Not in that match and not on training. They have a new striker on trial now. I don`t remember his name, but he was an african. They tought he would be a high and strong striker, but he was high and thin. Trond Egil Soltvedt, a player that has played in Brann before, and clubs in England like Sheffield Wednesday, said that he was tired of waiting on a contract-suggestion from Brann. Then he retired insted. He has been linked to Brann for a very long time, and few had predicted this outcome. He would have been a very important player for Brann in the following matches. I really don`t know why they didn`t want Cursuru. But I agree, It`s a little bit funny!
I really belive and hope that Brann could win this match, but I am not so sure. There will be a lot of people in the stadium to watch the team and welcome "the new pleyers". As always there is many people in Branns matches. I guess it would be 10.000-15.000, wich is very high in Norway. And Brann is the club with the most people watching their matches and the fans are very good. I have been on Brann stadium very many times, and I really think that they have the best spectators in Norway.
Brann get more confident in the match against Và¥lerenga. They won that match and maybe they can win two in a row?
I think that the most likely thing is a Brann victory and a high scoring match. It`s always a lot of goals scored in Norway, and do you get over 1,5-1,6 on a noregian match I think you should try it no matter what.
Lyn losed 5-0 for Rosenborg in the mid-week and Rosenborgs coach was angry because he ment that Lyn didn`t wanted to play football. That irriteded Lyns coach.
In that match they missed 3 players and one of them are out for this match to. The player they missing are Lagerlà¸f.

I think Brann should win, but Brann is not a team that you could suport very often. They could play really bad one match and finally succed in another. Brann have some problems playing in front of their fans. They are not a very good home team.

I don`t think this is a match you should put a lot of money on, but my surgestion is a homewin.

But I don`t played this match myself because I am from Bergen and I am a very big fan of Brann...

I agree with Rosenborg..I think they will win for sure. Rosenborg is the best team in Norway and will win the league again for the 12?13? time...I really don`t remember because they have won so many times. they have played best away because they get much more space there. When team come to Lerkendal they play defansive and hope to get 1 point.

AaB - FC Copenhagen
Defending champions FC Copenhagen start away against last year's big disappointment AaB. One should be aware, that all teams have had a very short summerbreak. Due to EURO 2004 the season will end earlier than normal, meaning that the teams have only four weeks holiday since the end of last season. This means that teams with a high turnover of players has had less time to gel and that last seasons results are still fresh in memory.
This may affect AaB and FCK in different ways. The match is, however, a tough start for both teams. Both teams will probably be happy with a draw and will probably adopt a cautious approach.

My tip is a match with few goals, ending in a draw.

FC Midtjylland - Viborg
These two teams should be roughly equal in terms of preparations. Viborg has a new coach and some new players, while FCM has reinforced an already strong team (note: they've bought Mohammed Zidan from AB, who is very skillful striker and one of the finds of last season).
FCM may be on the verge of becoming a serious championship challenger. They have bought sensibly, and clearly have a better team now. My tip is that they will start the season with a win against Viborg, even though the ended last season with a great run of results (note: This saved Viborg from relegation, but their coach Benny Lennartsson left after the end of the season).

OB - Frem
Both teams have something to prove in this match, but especially so for OB. The club has been talking about a top-4 finish, and that simply requires a home win against Frem. Frem will probably display a good fighter-spirit, but will that be enough against the better team of OB? I lean towards a home win to OB.

FC Nordsjà¦lland - AB
I can't see how AB can expect to avoid relegation, after having sold eight first team players (note: including both of their first-choice strikers).
FC Nordsjà¦lland (used to be Farum) was a positive surprise last season, but whether they can do it again this season is uncertain. Personally I don't think so. They have sold some of their profiles and also had a disappointing end to last season. They should still be able to beat a very weakened AB, though.

Esbjerg - AGF
One of the most diffucult matches to predict. Both teams are unpredictable and one should stay away from this match. One might think about a bet on more than 2.5 goals, since both teams like to attack and have leaky defences.

Brà¸ndby - Herfà¸lge
Brà¸ndby usually has trouble in the first match of the season, and also lost their last training match 2-3 at home to Landskrona. Herfà¸lge (Note: One of two promoted teams - the other is Frem) has made some exciting buys, especially former Tottenham midfielder Allan Nielsen. Herfà¸lge has a good H2H-record against Brà¸ndby, but two teams haven't played against each other for quite a while.
I back Herfà¸lge to make a good start to the season, and take X2 at parbet at odds 3.28 (note: This seems very risky to me).

First round of the new Croatian championship, match between Hajduk and Zagreb.

Hajduk is missing three important players and they still haven't achieved top form. They have a lot of problems with injured players and their midfield is because of that very weak. They played a Supercup game against Dinamo and were outplayed by Dinamo especially in the midfield.

Zagreb played against Slaven Belupo in the preseason preparation game and although they lost 3:0, they played very well. Zagreb will be very strong this year. Robert Prosinecki came to the club. Coach Kranjcar also returned. He is the coach that loves attacking football and he won the Championship with Zagreb 2 years ago. The club is much stronger than the last year.

Of course, Hajduk is still a favourite in this match, but i see great value in this odd for the away win. Medium stake recommended.

Tutto vero Leo,però molti che postano lì sono Blue Boys della Dinamo Zagabria,quindi venderebbero la casa per far perdere Haijduk Split.

Haijduk ha una marea di assenze,più i famosi venduti,però ha una squadra vasta e ricambi specie nel settore giovanile molto buoni.

La Torcida di Split potrebbe avere il suo peso come sempre,specie dopo la batosta di Supercoppa settimana scorsa.

NK Zagabria dopo la pesante crisi finanziara dell'anno passato,ha un nuovo sponsor(potente società  stile Moratti),nuovi acquisti ,tra cui Prosinecki,che però bisogna vedere se regge i 90 minuti ed è sempre difficile far girare una squadra con elementi nuovi all'inizio.In amichevole hanno perso 3-0 con Slaven Belupo,squadra molto buona,ma sempre da 5 posto al massimo.

Ora,per me,il match è no bet,cmq vada,non avrò rimpianti.

Se uno vuole,un tentavivo sul pari e uno meno forte sul 2 ci possono stare.Trovare il book non è semplice,ora magari qualcuno mette le quote oltre a BAW come singole.

I agree with the other guys about the chance for a home-victory. Lyn has Mohammed Ouseb, Frode Hansen and Jonny Hanssen out in addition to Thomas Lagerlöf. But more important; on the training course yesterday, coach Teitur Thordarson accused some players of having given false reasons to not participate in the cup defeat against Rosenborg the other day (bad english...grrr). And the players responded in rage! They want the new copach out of the club. There are also some wage-conflicts in the club now. Things are not good in Lyn these days, and what happens to morale in those cases?

Il Viking è imbattuto in trasferta e sinora ha perso solo con il Rosenborg. Il Bryne è abbastanza forte in casa, ma il fatto che si tratti di un derby affievolirà  l'importanza del fattore campo.

concordo con quanto detto sopra, inter in grande forma , helsinki che in casa stenta (2vittorie e 4 pareggi), le quote sul 2 ma anche quelle sulla doppia sono allettanti un po' ovunque..i precedenti parlano nettamente a favore dell helsinki ma un tentativo si puo' fare, visto anche l' impegno di mercoledi

Vado anche io dritto sul Brann @ 2.30 (porcari)(60 punti) ed aspetto Tromso, sul quale ho meno fiducia del Brann(chiuderei triplo/consiglio 40 punti da 1.65).Sul Tromso i tipster sono divisi nei pronostici e la quota non e' granche',ma sono fiducioso(e riconoscente per la vittoria sul Rosenborg @ 7.00).Stavo pensando ad un tentativo sul Sognodal da 3.65,perche' ho notato le quote in leggero calo(per esempio Whil e' uscito @ 4.00/ieri notte 3.50)...gradite opinioni...f.c.... ...(ieri sera Brann @ 2.40 da M.Point/adesso 2.20)....(gB ADESSO Brann @ 1.85)...
