The race went off on time and there were no issues with the bets struck on the race before the start.
During the race, one bet was placed, and allowed onto the Exchange, laying Voler La Vedette for £21,474,836 at odds of 29. This would have left the customer with a maximum liability of close to £600m.

This bet was placed by one of our UK customers trading the race via our API or Application Programming Interface (bdp.betfair.com/) using an automated program (a “botâ€

Non 60 milioni, se fosse andato in abbinamento tutto sarebbero stati 600milioni(praticamente l'intero capitale societario di betfair, o di bookmakers come Bet365)- Nessuno si giocherebbe una cifra del genere su un cavallo, nemmeno se le probabilità  di perdere fossero bassissime!

Questa non me l' aspettavo... poco fa mi chiama una dipendente di Betfair e mi dice che mi verrà  accreditata la giocata piazzata su Voler La Vedette.... io l' aveva giocata prima del live... e quando vidi tutto quel casino di cifre misi mi sembra 10 euro piazzata a 5/1... beh quella giocata la ritengono valida..... se me lo dicevano prima votavo il conto sul piazzato........ che banda di pazzi.....
