Surely WBA ought to win this league game. Blackburn are safe, and their coach Hughes stated after their 0-0 draw with M City that his players had obviously lost their motivation and that he could not blame them. Dickov is once again unfit, with Stead deputising, but Savage could play some part. Strange and sad game for WBA at the weekend, losing to Middlesbrough, 0-4. Plenty of possession for WBA, and they were in command, when suddenly Boro had a sudden goal outburst, scoring 3 goals in 10 minutes. It was the third consecutive away game for WBA - draws with A Villa and Tottenham, and then this big loss. Time for a home match again, and WBA have been very tough to handle at the Hawthorns lately. Geoff Horsfield was back as a substitute against Middlesbrough, and WBA have their 4 strikers all available. Greening is still suspended, but Kieran Richardson is expected back for this game. He was not fit to play in the Boro match. Should be something like the WBA - Everton fixture some weeks ago, a match that ended 1-0 for WBA, with WBA preventing efficiently Everton from getting any scoring chances. Everton were of course highly motivated but it did not help much, so what to think of the Blackburn possibilities tomorrow? I expect the home win, and I am quite pleased with this price. (2.20)
