GKS Katowice deserves to be in the Ekstraklasa and it's too bad that they're on the way to 2nd league.
Their roster looks more than bad, financial state is awful as always. What's worse, there's very bad atmosphere inside the team - some players are considering themselves as stars/Gods, some others are enough stupid to... quarrel with one another during the match (vide Andruszczak and Markowski, during preparation match against 3rd league Rozwà³j - GKS lost 2:3...)!
On top of it all, "GieKSa" is going to play against Cracovia without 3 of 4 the best players - striker Kmiecik (injury), left winger Kęska (injury) and right winger Andruszczak (suspension). What's more, their playmaker Czerwiec is ruled out with injury as well... Their offensive power is now reduced to Paweł Brożek (striker loaned from Wisła, who's showing lack of ambition and commitment to the team), youngster Dawid Plizga and out-of-form midfielder Wrà³bel... Looks like very poor, very old and crappy Agafon will be a GKS playmaker tomorrow - no comments
Cracovia looks nice this season, they're showing very attractive style of play. Quickness, inventiveness and good technique abilities - it should be enough to beat GieKSa... GKS defence is slow and very static, it'll be hard to resist against Cracovia attacks, it'll be hard to do some dangerous counter-attacks - I cannot see GKS doing anything this time.
