Vado a favore dei brasiliani che in questa Olimpiade stanno sbalordendo tutti con i risultati che stanno ottenendo. Nel primo match hanno battuto l'Australia, squadra sicuramente più attrezzata dei brasiliani in questo sport, nel secondo hanno vinto bene contro il Giappone mentre contro i serbi hanno compiuto un autentico colpaccio battendo una squadra che in questo sport è tra le migliori. Di contro ci sarà una Grecia che sta ottenendo dei buoni risultati perchè comunque i pareggi contro la Serbia e contro l'Ungheria non sono da buttare via. Per me sulle ali dell'entusiasmo, con tutto il pubblico a favore, il Brasile può fare un altro grande match, magari non riuscirà a vincerlo ma penso che starà attaccato alla partita fino alla fine.

Per quanto fatto vedere fino a qui dalla Serbia, la quota dei serbi non è giustificabile. La Serbia, fino ad ora, non ha vinto ancora un match, ha pareggiato contro l'Ungheria e la Grecia e ha perso contro il Brasile, questo a testimoniare che c'è qualcosa che non va nella nazionale serba. La Serbia comunque è obbligata a vincere se vuole continuare il suo cammino alle Olimpiadi, probabilmente riuscirà a farlo stanotte contro l'Australia ma con un handicap cosi alto vado a favore degli australiani.

Soryan, who turns 31 only days after the Games, lost early in the first two Olympic qualifiers. At the “last chance” qualifier in Istanbul, Soryan bounced back for four technical falls in a total time of 4:10 for one of the last tickets to Rio 2016.
Rovshan BAYRAMOV (AZE), 29, won silver medals at Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and seeks to become Azerbaijan’s second Olympic Games gold medalist in the classic style after Farid MANSUROV in Athens 2004. Bayramov also won the world title in 2011.
In Las Vegas, Bayramov got caught in bodylock early in the championship final with Ismael BORRERO MOLINA (CUB) for a takedown and three quick gut wrenches as the bout was stopped after only 32 seconds.
Challengers: Ismael BORRERO MOLINA (CUB) is the 2015 world champion, but at 24, has only had limited success in his young career. Like Bayramov, he apparently has not seen any major international competition since Las Vegas.
YUN Won-Chol (PRK) was world champion in 2013 and a bronze medal winner in Las Vegas, defeating Soryan, 6-5, in the consolation semifinals. Yun fell to Bayramov, 9-8, in the round of 16.
Almat KEBISPAYEV (KAZ), who finished in fifth place at London 2012, took bronze medals at the 2014 Asian Games and at the 2015 world championships. Kebispayev won the Golden Grand Prix Final in Baku by technical fall over regional rival Elmurat TASMURADOV (UZB).
Dark Horses: Stepan MARYANYAN (RUS) won the 2015 European Games but was bumped out of the world championships in the round of 16. Maryanyan defeated European champion Mingiyan SEMENOV (RUS), 4-2, at the Grand Prix of Spain in July.
Elmurat TASMURADOV (UZB) is a two-time world bronze medalist (2013, 2014) and was runner-up at the prestigious Poddubny tourney in January. He slipped to 11th place in Las Vegas after a 6-6 loss to Ivo ANGELOV (BUL) in the round of 16.
Ninja Wrestler: Shinobu OTA (JPN) stunned Soryan, 7-4, in the opening bout of the Asian Olympic qualifier in Astana and later earned qualification for Rio 2016. Ota has been dubbed “Ninja wrestler” for his unpredictable style of wrestling – which led to 10-6 win over then-world champion Yun in the 2014 Asia championships.
