James Harden is a great basketball player. He also has an awesome beard and almost unstoppable drive to the basket. What he lacks though is an abilty to keep his mouth shut when it is needed. There is a Youtube clip of him speaking to his teammates before the game against the Warriors on Saturday. Harden told them that he thinks the Warriors are not a good team although they beat them twice this season. Well after Saturday`s game make it a three times.

Make no mistake, by now most of the Warriors players know what James Harden thinks about them and those who don`t are likely to get informed by their coach Steve Kerr just to give them an extra motivation. Not that they really need that. Leaving aside a bad game against the surging Thunder, the Warriors have looked absolutely fantastic over the last couple of weeks. It has not been even close in these games and it totally makes sense if you know how the Warriors play. If they have a solid shooting night, no team can keep up with them. If they have Bogut playing (he was resting vs OKC), their defense is one of the best in the league. In fact even with Bogut being out for big part of the season, the Warriors are still keeping their opponents at the lowest field goal percentage in the league (.421).

The Warriors pose a problem for the Rockets as they have a great low post defender in Bogut to match well against Dwight Howard and as many points as Harden can score the „Splash Brothers” can score even more. The Warriors have won 3 previous game against the Rockets by an average margin of 16 points. They play at home and want to make Harden to regret his pregame speech 3 days ago. Charlotte che col ritorno di Stephenson e Jefferson gode dei favori del pronostico contro gli Heat privi di Deng e Whiteside, tuttavia 6 punti per una squadra che ha beneficiato (e non poco) dell'assenza del suo centrone e di Born Ready (ormai sicuro partente) sono troppi, visto è considerato che arriva pure una squadra che stop di ieri sera a parte, hafatto piu che bene ultimamente.
Dallas alla pratica Timberwolves da sbrigare senza patemi, così come per Cleveland e Atlanta non ci dovrebbero essere grosse difficoltà a superare gli ostacoli Pacers e Jazz, tengono forse banco LeBron e compagni, che ancora non convincono del tutto nonostante il filotto di vittorie.
Warriors e Suns alle prese con Houston e Blazers, avversari da prendere con le molle; ma mentre Curry e compagni stanno veramente vivendo un momento di spolvero, con vittorie di largo margine ovunque, I biancoviola invece avranno non pochi problemi contro Lillard e compagni, anche se l'assenza di Aldridge di fatto priva i Blazers di un buon 50% di potenziale offensivo.
Pelicans che ricevono i Lakers dopo le alterne prestazioni offerte in trasferta, con Tyreeke Evans a tirare la carretta e un Ajinca che ha fatto quel che poteva per sostituire Davis, con Holiday a GTD. Lakers con Boozer questionable.
Phila -Knicks sfida fra due tankanti, con New York chiamata alla prova d'orgoglio, ma anche una gara che entrambe vorrebbero perdere
OKC a Washington, gara senza dubbio interessante e Thunder alla caccia dei playoff, fisicamente superiori a Washington, e al momento con KD e RW che viaggiano su medie impressionanti ( come sempre nel mese di gennaio); si parla tuttavia di Washington, possibile contender a est, squadra che ha sempre dato problemi ai Thunder e campo dove OKC ha raccolto sconfitte nelle ultime 3 stagioni.
Memphis che per la forma e il ritorno di Conley dovrebbe vincere contro Toronto, apparsa non più la squadra scintillante di inizio stagione, fosse altro perchè z-bo e compagni hanno il brutto vizio di rilassarsi e riaprire partite che per tre quarti sembravano chiuse.
Kings che ricevono i Nets, squadra ma facile da interpretare e che è in grado di imporsi su chiunque in giornata, e Pistons che contro Orlando dovranno ripartire dopo la ripassata presa dai primi della classe.
