Nets vs Wizards

It will be a back-to-back meeting between these teams as they played last night in Washington. That actually has a huge importance tonight as the Wizards got humiliated yesterday and revenge factor is something that always has an importance in this league. It is safe to say the Wizards played one of their worst games this season and as their coach perfectly described it – they lacked focus, energy and urgency and they didn`t respect their opponent. The game set a season low in scoring and the biggest margin of defeat at home for the Wizards. Good teams never make these mistakes 2 games in a row and the Wizards see themselves as a top team in the Eastern Conference.

It is easy to think that last night the score was 102-80 for the Nets and it would take a massive 27-point swing for the Wizards to cover tonight, but this is exactly what we expect. Throw this game out of the window for a moment and the Nets are an awful team that has been struggling against good teams. In fact they are only 3-16 against the teams with a winning record this season. Before yesterday they had lost 7 games in a row and are just hanging around without having real identity. Their struggles are actually easy to explain as many of their key players (Williams, Lopez, Johnson) are on offer and tradeable pieces, which is never a good thing for a team chemistry. Even a good win is unlikely to change things emotionally and the Nets will keep struggling.

Back-to-back game will hurt the Nets old legs more. They also won`t have Deron Williams and although it didn`t show last night it is likely to play a bigger part in a b2b situation. The Wizards will bounce back tonight and we expect them to release they fury and fix the mistakes from yesterday. Take the Wizards to cover -4.5 points @1.961 from Pinnacle with 2/5 units.

situazione in NBA che sta delineando i suoi veri valori, consacrando le sorprese vere e facendo capire chi farà i playoff o meno.
Hornets che vengono da un momento positivo, le assenze di stephenson e jefferson gli anno fatto bene e si sembrava tornati a pensare di poter fare la post-season anche quest'anno; Indiana viene da una striscia di risultati alterni, ma negativi nelle prestazioni, complice anche un po' di sfortuna e una gestione pessima dei momenti chiave ( vedi canestro decisivo di Drummond ieri che ha deciso la sfida a favore dei Pistons). Washington dopo essere ruzzolata malissimo contro brooklyn, complice un Brook Lopez in giornata dominante, affonta i Nets a campi invertiti; difficile pensare ad un esito diverso a 24 ore di distanza, specialmente se gli wizards non riusciranno a trovare contromisure necessarie per limitare fisicamente Brooklyn.
Atlanta invece attesa a Chicago per la definitiva consacrazione degli Hawks, contro una squadra che ri è rilanciata con la vittoria di ieri a Boston. Rose ha fatto quel che ci si aspetta da lui, ma servirà ben altro stanotte contro la prima della classe.
Stesso alone di incertezza nella partita fra Rockets e Warriors, ieri Golden State ha provato a giocarsela fisicamente contro OKC e alla lunga ha ceduto, complice assenze ma anche una maggior determinazione da parte dei Thunder. Oggi contro il barba e Howard servirà il miglior Curry per uscire indenni, e lo stesso dicasi per i Rockets, forse allo stato attuale piu completi di gsw sui due lati del campo.
Detroit contro Philadelphia per vendicare la sconfitta all'OT di qualche tempo fa, e Kings -Clippers che ci dirà cosa faranno i losangelini.

Due partite interessanti; la prima è quella di Denver, Minnesota deve si ancora crescere e l'altura la farà da padrone e avvantaggerà i nuggets,ma 12 punti sembrano troppi visto e considerato il momento di forma dialcuni giocatori dei T'Wolves, WIlliams, Bennet, LaVine e Wiggins, e l'aria di smobilitazione che si respirà in colorado, nonostante l'arrivo di Nelson ( ottimo elemento che con Afflalo di fatto ricomporrà la coppia di guardie dei Magic dello scorso anno).
Altra sfida interessante è Memphis - Portland; Blazers che adesso sembrano ufficialmente attraversare un periodo di crisetta, umiliati anche dagli Spurs e che sono 1-4 fuori casa contro squadre che attualmente occupano i playoff, viceversa i Grizzlies viaggiano a gonfie vele dopo le ultime tre vittorie di fila ottenute anche con largo margine; Courtney Lee, Beno Udrih e Jeff Green stanno garantendo punti e hanno aumentato il potenziale offensivo della squadra, nonostante l'assenza di Conley.
