Finalmente si parte
Rockets @ LA Lakers

The Indiana Pacers signed center Courtney Sims this afternoon.
Sims, who was released by the Pacers last week, is being brought in as a precaution because Jermaine O'Neal and Troy Murphy are doubtful for the season opener Wednesday against the Washington Wizards at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Pacers have just three healthy big men -- Jeff Foster, Ike Diogu and David Harrison.
Forward Shawne Williams, who sprained his left ankle in practice today, is suspended for the first three games of the season.

Anche Ben Wallace (Bulls) è questionable contro i Nets:
Wallace's status will determine lineup against Nets.
While Bulls management has been talking with the Los Angeles Lakers about acquiring superstar Kobe Bryant, coach Scott Skiles has been trying to get the team ready for its season-opening game Wednesday at the New Jersey Nets.
Skiles sent his healthy players -- center Ben Wallace and forward Joakim Noah were out with sprained left ankles -- through a nearly three-hour practice Saturday. Noah won't play against the Nets, and Wallace's status for the opener remains unknown. Should Wallace be unable to play, Joe Smith likely would get the nod at center, with Tyrus Thomas playing power forward.
''Whether it's to be in the starting lineup in place of Ben or I'm coming off the bench, I'm feeling ready now,'' Smith said.
If Wallace is able to play against the Nets, Smith might start at power forward. Skiles said he would lean toward starting a more veteran lineup, and Smith is entering his 13th season. He has, however, been bothered by swelling in his right knee, which was wrapped in ice after practice.
''It's been doing pretty good,'' Smith said. ''I had a series of shots I had to take, and that has been doing good for it. The first shot was a cortisone shot. The other two have been anti-inflammatories. It's been reacting well to that.''
Thomas, who hurt his right foot in the Bulls' preseason finale Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks at the United Center, was able to practice. So was swingman Adrian Griffin, who made it through his first complete workout after battling a bad back since the start of camp.
''He's struggling, but he looked good,'' Skiles said. ''Sometimes when a guy goes out and you get him back, you realize: 'Griff moves the ball around. He helps facilitate the offense. He plays good defense.' So it was nice to see him back.''
Skiles, who gave the team today off, said the health of other players will enter into his decision about whether to activate Griffin against the Nets.
''[Noah] is a little bit better, [but] he's going to be out a little while,'' Skiles said. ''We just have to wait and see, go day to day and see what happens. We were thinking a week or so [without him] anyway. ... It's too soon to tell [with Wallace]. He's getting his treatment. We just have to wait and see.''
Forward Andres Nocioni, who was held out of the game Thursday because of a strained hamstring, practiced. Guard Ben Gordon, who still is feeling the effects of a sprained left ankle, also went through the entire practice.
