EXPERIMENTAL RULES
There will be three experimental rules used in the San Juan Shootout:
• Moving the 3-point line 9 inches behind the current 3-point line to create a new experimental distance of 20 feet, 6 inches.
• Widening the free throw lane by 1 1/2 feet on each side. (The experimental lane will serve both as the three-second lane and the free throw lane.)
• Placing a restricted area defensive arc which is to be 2 feet from the center of the basket ring.
