EPSOM
* The highlight on the first day of the Derby meeting is the Vodafone Oaks (4.05), where ante-post favourite Yesterday will attempt to give Aidan O'Brien his third win in the race.
* Saeed bin Suroor, who has a 21% strike-rate at the course, bids for his third Coronation Cup (3.25) win with Highest.
* Dumaran attempts to win the handicap at 2.10 for the second successive year.
* Nayzak, last seen out when winning a Newmarket maiden last summer, is an interesting contender in the listed event at 1.40.
CATTERICK
* Only One Legend bids to win the handicap at 3.10 for the second successive year.
* Lady Piste tries to follow up her Chester maiden win in the novice stakes at 2.00.
* Future Coup bids to complete a hat-trick of course and distance wins in the handicap at 3.45.
* Gladys Aylward takes a drop down in class to claiming company in the 2.35.
Per fortuna ieri non ho dato seguito all'idea di giocarmi Aglo Saxon. Ma neanche Red Opal ha vinto. Dirò che è da parecchio tempo che riscontro dei risultati poco confortanti. Sarà il periodo? Mah... Oggi ad Epsom mi piace molto Warrsan (3.25), ma è una corsa difficile. Un unico appunto: non mi fiderei molto di Albanova che ha vinto l'ultima in maniera facilissima, ma contro nessuno e con un tempo risibile. Vedremo. Al solito: in bocca al lupo e speriamo (in senso figurato, s'intende, perché amo tutti gli animali) di farlo fuori almeno una volta! gattos...
