BATH
* The Gerard Butler-trained Commission, who has some fancy entries to his name, takes a drop down in class in the 3.45.
* Bonny Ruan bids to improve on her good course record (one win and one place from three runs) in the fillies handicap at 3.10.
* Richard Hannon has had his two-year-olds in good form this year and runs Bouncer in the opening maiden (2.10).
CHESTER
* The highlight on the first day of the May meeting is the Chester Vase (2.55), with Barry Hills' Risk Taker taking a step up to Group 3 level after impressively winning a Newmarket maiden last time.
* Parasol has been in fine form this year and bids for a four-timer in the Huxley Stakes at 3.30.
* Richard Hannon's Signor Panettiere is well drawn to make use of his early speed in the 1.55.
