NEWMARKET
* Six Perfections, who travels over from France with a huge reputation, faces her biggest test to date in the 1,000 Guineas at 3.55.
* Border Subject attemps to take the six-furlong rated stakes (2.10) for the second year in a row.
* The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Arakan, who has been touted as a group horse in the making, shoulders top weight in handicap company at 2.40.
SALISBURY
* The Roger Charlton-trained Rocket Ship (4.15) ran a promising race on his reappearance and with likely improvement, could be a threat to all.
* Vermillian, who looked a filly to follow when winning at Newmarket on her debut, runs under a penalty in the 3.40.
* John Gosden has a good record here, and his Desert Opal is likely to prove hard to beat in the second division of the maiden (3.05).
