NEWMARKET
* Aidan O'Brien holds a typically strong hand in the 2000 Guineas (3.35) with ante-post favourite Hold That Tiger the choice of Mick Kinane.
* Needwood Blade, who won the Abernant here at the last meeting, could have the race set up for him in the Group 3 Palace House (2.20).
* Marsad attempts to land a competitive-looking Ladbrokes Handicap (2.55) for the third year in a row.
HAYDOCK
* The Len Lungo-trained Laouen is having a fruitful spring, and bids to add the £70,000 Swinton Hurdle (1.40) to his haul under Tony Dobbin.
* Deano's Beeno goes well here and attempts to put a recent reversal behind him in the Long Distance Hurdle (1.10).
* Millennium Force, who has been running well of late, drops back down to listed company in the Spring Trophy at 2.10.
