* Veteran stayer Persian Punch makes his seasonal reappearance in the listed event at 2.25.

* Kafuwain shaped well in a Newmarket maiden last time and is an interesting contender in the 4.10.

Left-handed Newbury is a good, galloping track with a run-in of nearly five furlongs.

NOTTINGHAM

* John Dunlop, who has a 20% strike-rate at the course, saddles Contact Dancer in the handicap at 3.55.

* James Given's useful filly Wunders Dream is an interesting contender in the listed event at 3.20.

* Prince of Gold bids to follow up his win at Beverley in the classified stakes at 2.50.

Left-handed Nottingham is flat and the turns are easy. There's a run-in of four and a half furlongs.
