Race 1


Kissin Ty has route and turf experience and draws the rail. Beat him for it all. Both Mambo Train and Cosmic Glitter broke their maidens in turf sprints and then were thrown to the wolves. Did that destroy their spirit?

Race 2

Validating should be able to track Ms Powful and pounce for Martin. Fortunate Chance has worked back since her first with winners and could be an upsetter.
Race 3

Bunch of old fogies (read: back class) types in here. Hard to say which ones will feel good today. Lytle Creek appears the most consistent and looks to be in good condition.
Race 4

They finally drop Sumthinbad to a level she can win at and the ML price reflects that. Miss All That has worked back well for Mullins and has some lick. Bettor Knot gets another chance and has lick too. Finally, Mr. Matlow has a FTS in here with common works and rides Flores on Short Putt. He's dangerous with these.

Race 5

Sherman stops by with another from up north. He lost West Slew two back and immediately reclaimed her. This is a pretty empty field so I'm only going to get beat once!

Race 6

On the other hand, this field is full of talent. Dream Place, River Lights and Melanyhasthepapers are working well and figure to move up here. Of the ones with turf experience Lipan looks good and has good works since raced. Add Wild Shaman with his turf experience and you have lots of chances to get whiplash.

Race 7
Scratch #5 Rosarita Beach


A ton of speed in here and Cyber Slew is licking her chops. She will be tracking a few lengths back and then be rolling off the turn. Of the speed freaks, give a look to Runaway Mother. She is moving forward and working well for a trainer that does well with this kind.

Race 8

Port Hueneme is working well enough to handle this group. He's a home-bred gelding so there's no stud future and if they get the win and get claimed it's a $30k payday. Fax Machine has a nice development line and draws right for a tracking trip. Betta Bing has some nice works and a long layoff since Phoenix in the spring. Finally, Ranier Express keeps teasing with little late flurries but you have to wonder how interested he really is. He added wraps last time, too
