Owner Clive Smith, whose other chasing heavyweight, Kauto Star, returns at Haydock on Saturday, said: "At this stage of the season, I'm full of anticipation, and with Master Minded, I'm wondering if he'll be right back to his all-time best.

"It's a tough race for him to start back in, and, as Paul [Nicholls] has said, if ever there was a time he could be beaten, it's in this race."

Ruby Walsh rides Master Minded rather than staying in Ireland to partner Hurricane Fly, who will instead have Paul Townend on board.

Master Minded terzo, per fortuna sono riuscito a chiudere in un tuttoverde!

E' partito bene quindi non è stato un problema chiudersi a 1.4

Solo una cosa non ho capito, perchè MasterM. negli ultimi furlongs si è allargato così tanto?? Sembra quasi che il fantino abbia fatto apposta

cercava la striscia più favorevole di terreno,se hai visto oggi alla fine venivano tutti allo stecco opposto.master vuole terreno buono e oggi non era pronto.non ho ancora rivisto ne letto niente,ma a parte le dichiarazioni pre gara del team(da prendere con le molle),fosse stato lui sul ritmo stroncava well chieff e il resto.vedremo al festival come finirà  la rivincita.
