Apro questo thread con largo anticipo per segnalare che nella CONFERENCE INGLESE, hanno deciso di allargare la griglia playoffs dalla seconda classificata alla 17°...in pratica faranno degli ottavi di finale, poi quarti, semi e finale....retrocedono sempre le ultime tre...

The play-off system this year was designed to give many teams something to play for. But it hasn't worked out that way. There is a large gap between 5th and 6th, so the play-off composition has been basically settled already.

Until today, that is.

In the latest Conference Chairmen's EGM, it was resolved that the play-off knock-out stage would be contested by 16 teams, rather than four. They would play one leg matches to reduce to eight, then four - and then continue as per the original plan.
