Riporto i prono del tipster londinese sugli antepost di questi tornei-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WTA Bad Gastein Betting: Andrea Petkovic and Mona Barthel look a bit overrated in Bad Gastein this weekThis week is going to see plenty of interesting events and there is no doubt that the ATP event in Hamburg is going to be the tournament that will be in the centre of attention, but I am going to take a step back and look at some of the smaller events instead. For example, I definitely think that players like Andrea Petkovic and Mona Barthel might actually be a bit overrated at bookies like BetVictor.
Don't get me wrong - the two are definitely among the best players in the draw in terms of overall quality, but the event in Bad Gastein should offer pretty specific conditions and I think that they won't be particularly suited to either Petkovic or Barthel. Things should be quite slow - and especially so if the weather forecasts will turn out to be absolutely spot on - and that is something that someone like Mona Barthel won't like that much in my opinion. Instead, some of those tough clay court specialists might have a decent shot at getting the title here - and I am going to have a small punt on two of them.
Firstly, Karin Knapp will find herself with a very easy draw early on and it is hard for me to think that the odds for her victory should be higher than the odds for Annika Beck to win, as I definitely rate the Italian as the better player of the two at the moment. Secondly, I think that Patricia Mayr could give the favourites a good run for their money in the first half of the draw, especially since she has always done well in the specific conditions that the event in Bad Gastein offers.

WTA Bastad Betting: Going against Serena Williams could offer plenty of value over the next few daysThe second WTA tournament that will be on offer this week is going to take place in the Swedish city of Bastad and there is one obvious question associated with the outright markets - will Serena Williams do everything she is capable of and win the title? Bookies like BetVictor naturally have to have her as a very big favourite, but there is hardly any value in backing her to do well in my opinion.
After all, it is really hard to see what are the reasons for her being in Bastad, as she simply doesn't play in these smaller events for obvious reasons. She has apparently promised to make an appearance to the organizers, but that alone doesn't guarantee that she will cruise through to the title in Sweden this week. I am making a fairly speculative assumption here, but let's be honest - what are the chances of her being at her very best this week?
Therefore, I am going to have a small play on two players here, Klara Zakopalova and Caroline Garcia. The Czech played solid stuff last week and has enough quality to beat anyone with the exception of Serena Williams in full flight - and, to be fair, it is likely that she won't have to face the American in that sort of form. Meanwhile, Caroline Garcia looks like a player that could finally make a breakthrough in a smaller tournament like this one - and these odds simply look a bit off in all fairness, especially since her draw is not unplayable by any means.
Back Klara Zakopalova to win WTA Bastad for a 1/10 stake at 29.00 with BetVictor
Back Caroline Garcia to win WTA Bastad for a 0.5/10 stake at 67.00 with Paddy Power
