oggi tutte con esposizioni limitate,perchè non ho le idee molto chiare,
per il momento
bancato Blanco contro il qualificato Minar,lo spagnolo mipare sia in forma piuttosto dubbia,confrequenti infortuni.
bancato anche qualcosa di Mutis,ho visto Vliegen un paio di settimane
fa,ha giocato un set super prima di perdere non ricordo contro chi,
ha un gioco molto difficile e cerca di tirare tutti i colpi,con questa forbice
il tentativo è fattibile.

Sono andato a cercare,ho visto Vliegen contro Monaco,ottimo primo set,molto bravo nelle palle corte che forse usa in modo eccessivo,nel
secondo ha iniziato a sbagliare e nel terzo è stato asfaltato,però da un buon giocatore in forma in questo mopmento come Monaco.

Altre due idee per il pomeriggio,
bancato Ulihrach contro il qualificato Serra,il tedesco in questo periodo
ha giocato molto poco vincendo appena due match dei quali l'ultima per ritiro,Serra ben rodato dalle quali si fa per me preferire.
Bancato anche Hanescu,ritiratosi nell'ultimo match potrebbe non essere al massimo fisicamente,inoltre non considero la terra la sua superficie
preferita.

busy week on the ATP cicuit this week, with no less than three tournaments taking place.




Of these the 2004 RCA Championships looks by far the most competitive, with most of the world's premier hard court players on show.


One man who won't be involved though is modern great Andre Agassi, who pulled out over the weekend after losing to Tommy Haas at the Mercedes Benz Cup in Los Angeles.


Agassi said of his decision to withdraw: "This is a big disappointment to me and I apologise to all of those that where looking forward to seeing me play in Indianapolis."


No apologies necessary though Andre, for the Las Vegan's no-show can only serve to enhance the chances of our main tip this week, Paradorn Srichaphan.


The big-serving Thai star clearly enjoys himself in Indianapolis, where last year he finished runner-up to number one seed (and 2004 RCA betting favourite) Andy Roddick.


It's easy to see why Roddick begins as favourite this year, but I would not advise anyone to go steaming into the Nebraskan before you see just what sort of shape he is in.


After all this is Roddick's first tournament since he suffered the disappointment of losing the Wimbledon final to Roger Federer, and I suspect he may just struggle to get himself 'up' for this one, particularly in the early rounds.

Indeed you cannot rule out an early exit for the world number two, particularly when you consider just who is in his quarter of the draw.


He is scheduled to meet rising American star Robby Ginepri (who himself enjoyed a fine Wimbledon) in the third round, and should he come through that (which is by no means guaranteed) he would probably meet the huge-serving Swede Joachim 'Pim Pim' Johansson.


If that match were to materialse, it would be all about whose serve was functioning best on the day and who held their nerve in the inevitable tie-breaks.

Dangerous floaters such as third seed Sebastien Grosjean, Greg Rusedski and Sjeng Scahlken are also in Roddick's half of the draw, and so with this in mind it's difficult to get excited about the 6/5 on offer for the American to defend his title here.

Srichaphan meanwhile looks to have a tasty draw, and while it will obviously be no cake walk, I would be very surprised if he did not make the semi-finals at a relative canter.

Players such as Robert Soderling, Nicolas Kiefer and Tommy Haas are all in his quarter, but the aforementioned German duo may not be 100% after their long run in Los Angeles just last week.


Paradorn did OK in LA, winning a few matches before being bundled out by Jeff Morrison.


With an extra few days rest behind him and more time to practice on the Indianapolis surface, the player known bizarrely as "Ball" has every chance of going one better than last year.


He lost a tight final to Roddick in 2003 (7/6 6/4), and while he has taken a while to warm up this year, he looks a cracking price at 14/1 to record his sixth victory on the ATP Tour.


Elsewhere this week Gaston Gaudio looks worth opposing to land the the Generali Open.


The Argentine French Open champion has appeared in successive clay finals in recent weeks, but must surely be feeling it right about now.


He was involved in an epic five-set encounter with compatriot Guillermo Canas on Sunday, and simply cannot be 100% physically or mentally coming to Kitzbuhel.
