The Americans looked in serious trouble ever since they were drawn against Toluca (still, not much to choose from, as all the group winners were from Mexico), but now things just seem to be getting worse and worse. The MLS could go on strike towards the start of the new season, so most of the players should worry about finding some clubs were to play until things are settled. And we all know how good USA teams handle the Mexican ones, as they rarely get a win, mainly because they usually play a second-string team, but sometimes, even with a full squad they tend to struglle, and eventually lose. Regarding form, Columbus is also at an disadvantge here, having played their last official match at the beginning of November, so there are sure to be some rusty legs there. And the squad news are also grim for the Americans. Even if they can field their best squad now, since there isn't any fixture congestion, they can't, because forward Schelotto (best player in the team) and right defender Hejduk (also the captain of the team) are suspended, while Chad Marshall (heart of the defense) and Jed Zayner (he could have provided good cover for Hejduk) are injured. They did sign Sergio Herrera as a striker, from Deportivo Cali, but we still need to see how well he adapts to the MLS. And with some key absences in the back, Crew are bound to suffer today.

Things are looking much better for the Mexican side, as they are undefeated in their last 4 games. They don't look too good in their group's standings, and they should push for some more points, therefore it is possible that some regulars will be rested for this Champions League match (especially since they will play against Cruz Azul in the weekend), but even under this circumstances, they could win it quite comfortably. Their last match in the USA was a 3-1 win against DC United, and they played with their first team there, so if they do it again, I'm sure they won't even break a sweat against the Crew. And it is quite obvious that the Mexicans have overall better players. The Americans are indeed more athletic, but that doesn't matter too much on football field, where the advantage lies with the more technical gifted players, and here Toluca has the advantage. The only sure absent for the Mexicans is defender Edgar Duenas, who is also suspended.

While there is still uncertainty regarding Toluca's line-up, I still favor the Mexicans to win this one. With the regulars, it will probably be a walk in the park, while with the reserves, they could struggle a bit, but they should have enough quality to win it in the end. I'm going on this one just with medium stakes, because of the unknown Mexican formation, but after the line-up is confirmed, and the regulars are playing, I would suggest some higher stakes. A me personalmente mancavano i tuoi post...spero solo che non sia un post sporadico e che torni a postare come qualche settimana fa.
Naturalmente, lo sai, ti seguo con fiducia su questa bet, aggiungendo che (se già  non c'è scritto sul preview in inglese) le squadre messicane sono nettamente superiori a quelle americane.
