"Carl Magnay is a doubt for Hartlepool's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Sheffield United as boss Ronnie Moore gets set to ring the changes.
Midfielder Magnay, who has been a stand-out performer for Pools since arriving at the club from Grimsby this summer, took "a whack" during Pools' 3-2 defeat at home to Carlisle on Saturday and is expected to sit out the tie.
Defender Harry Worley was an unused substitute at the weekend after recovering from an ankle injury and he is line to start, possibly alongside Dan Jones who is in contention after a back problem.
