BARNET  asia 2.32

Pk aperto all'80,sceso in 14 minuti al 70....

Saluti.

Southend v Bristol R preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Southend and Bristol Rovers at Roots Hall.

Mark Phillips and Peter Gilbert will be given every opportunity to be fit for Southend.

Phillips was forced off in the closing stages of Tuesday's FA Cup triumph over Preston nursing a hamstring injury while fellow defender Gilbert emerged from the first-round replay with a groin strain.

Neither trained on Thursday but will be assessed as late as possible as the Shrimpers aim to extend their superb 15-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Midfielder Anthony Grant comes back into the reckoning having completed his three-match suspension.

Manager Paul Sturrock made just the one change in midweek with Jean-Paul Kalala dropping to the bench in favour of Neil Harris, and the midfielder will be hoping to come back in against a Pirates side who have struggled this season having initially been tipped as a favourite for promotion.

Striker Barry Corr has been forced to undergo a knee operation in a bid to resolve his ongoing injury problems, with young midfielder Harry Crawford also set for similar procedure.

Meanwhile, Bristol Rovers will be without veteran striker Scott McGleish.

The former Leyton Orient and Northampton forward came off with an ankle injury during the 2-0 home defeat to Barnet and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

Eliot Richards could deputise for the 37-year-old, although Chris Zebroski is expected to lead the line with Matt Harrold.

Rovers will also be missing experienced centre-back Adam Virgo, who has been ruled out for the season with knee ligament damage. Meanwhile, manager Paul Buckle conceded midfielder Wayne Brown (ankle) could also be unavailable for the rest of the term.

"Wayne Brown will be lucky if he is back playing before the end of the season," the Pirates boss told the club's official website. "That is three big players for us and it is tough to take.
