Takkula, 21, is a promising midfielder joining Inter from the First Division. Previously he's played for OLS and Tervarit.
+ Martin Mutumba (AIK, Sweden)
Mutumba is a 19-year old Swedish striker with roots from Uganda and Brazil. The talented player was considered as a prodigy at AIK but injuries have halted his career so far.
+ Antti-Jussi Karnio (JJK)
The 26-year old goalkeeper will fight Magnus Bahne for a place in the starting eleven.
+ Tomi Petrescu (Leicester)
The 18-year old striker is considered as one of the best prospects in Finnish football. Made his Leicester debut at 16. Wanted by the Romanian FA.

- Jari Litmanen (Hansa Rostock)
The best Finnish footballer ever gets another chance in Europe and will do his best to help Rostock in their battle against relegation in the Bundesliga.

The 28-year old midfielder joins from relegated FC Hämeenlinna. Team captain and scorer of four goals last season. Has previously represented Exeter, RiPS, FC Jazz and Honka.
+ Roope Heilala (FF Jaro)
The 24 year old defender has spent the three last years at FF Jaro. The 2004 season was spoilt by a knee injury. In 2003 he was by many considered as Jaro's best player and his absence certainly had a big part in Jaro's poor season. Heilala has also played for FC Jokerit.
+ Liivo Leetma (FC TVMK, Estonia)
The versatile Estonian international is brought in to strengthen the midfield. The 28 year old is signed from Estonian Champions TVMK.
- Toni Koskela (Cardiff, England)
The promising midfielder will sign a short term deal with the Welsh outfit currently playing in England's second highest division.

+ Ville Väisänen (Ljungskile SK)
Once highly promising Väisänen returns to Finland after 2 years in Norway and Sweden. Before he left FC Haka in 2002, he had spells at De Graafschap, FC Jazz, TPV and FC Lahti.
+ Kim Ekroos (PIF)
Young keeper with experience from Strasbourg's youth academy. Will be Jaro's second choice in 2005.
+ Jani Timonen (JBK)
The 20-year old central defender joins from reserve/farm team JBK after a good 2004 season in the Second Division.
+ Otto Fredrikson (Borussia Mönchengladbach)
The young goalkeeper joins Jaro for another session on loan after producing a good second part of the 2004 season.
+ Juha Luoma (FC Jazz)
At 24, Luoma's already featured in 101 Veikkausliiga games. Luoma will offer manager Boström more options for the defensive game.
+ Kalle Väisänen (AC Oulu)
The 24-year old striker joins his brother Ville at Jaro.
+ Kiril Alexandrov (Bulgaria)
Big 26-year old striker signed in April on a free transfer.
- Dennis Volodin (Free)
Volodin is a big 22-year old Russian who was signed from TP-47 a few months back. As the player didn't show up for pre season training the contract was cancelled. Now the contract is resigned.EDIT: Another twist as Volodin was sacked after punching an opponent.
- Roope Heilala (FC KooTeePee)
The 24-year old defender joins KooTeePee after 3 years with Jaro. Was troubled by injuries in 2004.
- Fredrik Svanbäck (Helsingborgs IF, Sweden)
The technical left winger Svanbäck will be very difficult to replace for Jaro.
- André Hansell (IFK Mariehamn)
The 20-year old full back moves back home to the Åland islands after spending the half of 2004 at IFK on loan.
- Ilja Venäläinen (FC KooTeePee)
Venäläinen had a difficult 2004 season scoring only five goals in 21 games. The 24-year old former KuPS striker will try to double that in 2005.
- John Weckström (FC Honka)
The 25-year old joined Jaro a year ago from Allianssi and after 19 games and 3 goals he moves to promotion hopefulls FC Honka.
- Ilpo Verno (FC Honka)
The midfielder joined Jaro along with Weckström from Allanssi a year ago. Now they move on togheter again as Verno steps down to the First Division.
- Vesa Vasara (FC Honka)
The former internatinonal winger Vasara is the third player from the club to join Honka. Vasara was promising at HJK in the mid 90's but didn't develop to the star expected. Has previously spent two unhappy years in Kalmar, Sweden.
- Rasmus Vikström (Free)
The 26-year old midfielder has seen little action recently and has reached an agreement with the club to cancel the contract.
HJK Helsinki

The 28-year old goalkeeper Wallén rejoins HJK and is likely to finally get his chance as first choice at the club.

- Antti Heinola (Retired)
The defender quits at 31 after 12 games for Finland and spells in England and the Netherlands.
- Mike Peltola (AC Oulu)
In 2005 the 30-year old defender will aim for promotion with Oulu, something which he managed in 1993. Peltola has played 170 Veikkausliiga games over the years. In addition to this he's also played in Norway for Bodö/Glimt and in Sweden for Kalmar FF.
- Tommi Grönlund (Retired)
The Veikkausliiga comeback lasted only for one season for the tough midfielder who quits football at 35.
- Aarno Turpeinen (Retired)
Former international defender Turpeinen quits after almost 400 games in the Veikkausliiga.

Rikamaa is a 21-year old defender who was brought in from Klubi-04 in January. Was later released to Atlantis.

Viander moves back to Finland after a few unsuccessive years abroad in England, Israel and Cyprus. The 29-year old former HJK goalkeeper has played 13 internationals and has experience from the Champions League.
+ Jarkko Hurme (AC Oulu)
Hurme is a 18-year old left sided defender. He's also a Under 19 International.
+ Markus Paija (Nybergsund, Norway)
Veteran defender Paija joins from the Norwegian Second Division.
+ Janne Mahlakaarto (AC Oulu)
The versatile 23-year old joins from AC Oulu after unsuccessfull trials at HJK and Dordrecht. Is mainly seen as a striker - although he was also used as a central defender last season. Has played in 5 U21 Internationals.

The 28-year old midfielder joins from relegated FC Hämeenlinna. Team captain and scorer of four goals last season. Has previously represented Exeter, RiPS, FC Jazz and Honka.
+ Roope Heilala (FF Jaro)
The 24 year old defender has spent the three last years at FF Jaro. The 2004 season was spoilt by a knee injury. In 2003 he was by many considered as Jaro's best player and his absence certainly had a big part in Jaro's poor season. Heilala has also played for FC Jokerit.
+ Liivo Leetma (FC TVMK, Estonia)
The versatile Estonian international is brought in to strengthen the midfield. The 28 year old is signed from Estonian Champions TVMK.
- Toni Koskela (Cardiff, England)
The promising midfielder will sign a short term deal with the Welsh outfit currently playing in England's second highest division.
- Jussi Pellikka (FC Hämeenlinna)
The veteran defender rejoins Hämeenlinna after featuring in 21 Veikkausliiga games for KooTeePee.
- Ville Huovila (FC Kuusankoski)
The 28-year old central defender will play in the Second Division this season after a few troublesome years at KooTeePee following a string of injuries.

+ Ville Väisänen (Ljungskile SK)
Once highly promising Väisänen returns to Finland after 2 years in Norway and Sweden. Before he left FC Haka in 2002, he had spells at De Graafschap, FC Jazz, TPV and FC Lahti.
+ Kim Ekroos (PIF)
Young keeper with experience from Strasbourg's youth academy. Will be Jaro's second choice in 2005.
+ Jani Timonen (JBK)
The 20-year old central defender joins from reserve/farm team JBK after a good 2004 season in the Second Division.
+ Otto Fredrikson (Borussia Mönchengladbach)
The young goalkeeper joins Jaro for another session on loan after producing a good second part of the 2004 season.
+ Juha Luoma (FC Jazz)
At 24, Luoma's already featured in 101 Veikkausliiga games. Luoma will offer manager Boström more options for the defensive game.
+ Kalle Väisänen (AC Oulu)
The 24-year old striker joins his brother Ville at Jaro.
+ Kiril Alexandrov (Bulgaria)
Big 26-year old striker signed in April on a free transfer.
- Dennis Volodin (Free)
Volodin is a big 22-year old Russian who was signed from TP-47 a few months back. As the player didn't show up for pre season training the contract was cancelled. Now the contract is resigned.EDIT: Another twist as Volodin was sacked after punching an opponent.
- Roope Heilala (FC KooTeePee)
The 24-year old defender joins KooTeePee after 3 years with Jaro. Was troubled by injuries in 2004.
- Fredrik Svanbäck (Helsingborgs IF, Sweden)
The technical left winger Svanbäck will be very difficult to replace for Jaro.
- André Hansell (IFK Mariehamn)
The 20-year old full back moves back home to the Åland islands after spending the half of 2004 at IFK on loan.

- Vesa Vasara (FC Honka)
The former internatinonal winger Vasara is the third player from the club to join Honka. Vasara was promising at HJK in the mid 90's but didn't develop to the star expected. Has previously spent two unhappy years in Kalmar, Sweden.
- Rasmus Vikström (Free)
The 26-year old midfielder has seen little action recently and has reached an agreement with the club to cancel the contract.

+ Ville Wallén (RoPS)
The 28-year old goalkeeper Wallén rejoins HJK and is likely to finally get his chance as first choice at the club.
+Mika Hänninen (RoPS)
Midfielder Hänninen (born 1984) played 25 games and scored twice for RoPS during last season.
+ Mika Johansson (Klubi-04)
Promising keeper from HJK's academy.
+ Ilari à„ijälä (Klubi-04)
The 18-year old midfield prospect and under 19 International will be hoping for a chance to prove himself in the Veikkausliiga.

The 1983-born striker was the second top scorer in the First Division last season. Joins his brother Iiro who's been at the club for 3 seasons.
+ Veli Lampi (VPS Vaasa)
Lampi is an Under 21 Interantional midfielder who will be hoping for his big breakthrough at HJK.
+ Adel Eid (FC Honka)
The young defender, born in 1984, is a youth international and joins from the First Division.

Hetemaj is a highly promising midfielder. The 18-year old joins from Klubi-04, HJK's academy team.

The 18-year old midfielder, a brother of Ridvan who's already at the club, has looked promising so far.
+ Valmir Alves Oliveira (Portuguesa de Desportos)
Oliveira is a 25-year old Brazilian striker who was signed after being on trial in Helsinki and during the Cyprus training camp.
- Mika Kottila (FC Lahti)
The 30-year old former International will bring strenght and experience to the Lahti offensive. Scorer of 7 goals in 2004.

Promising central defender Santala will be hoping for a chance to prove himself at the Glasgow giants
- Jon Poulsen (AC Allianssi)
Striker Poulsen (23) scored three league goals in 17 games last season. The 2003 season he managed 5 goals in 19 games, representing both HJK and FC KooTeePee.
- Andras Vilnrotter (Retired)
The Hungarian goalkeeper quits the game after winning the Veikkausliiga five times under Keith Armstrong.
- Antti Ristimäki (Atlantis)
The 22 year old goalie has not featured in a single Veikkausliiga game and is hoping for better luck in the Second Division at Atlantis.
- Antti Heinola (Retired)
The defender quits at 31 after 12 games for Finland and spells in England and the Netherlands.
- Mike Peltola (AC Oulu)
In 2005 the 30-year old defender will aim for promotion with Oulu, something which he managed in 1993. Peltola has played 170 Veikkausliiga games over the years. In addition to this he's also played in Norway for Bodö/Glimt and in Sweden for Kalmar FF.
- Tommi Grönlund (Retired)
The Veikkausliiga comeback lasted only for one season for the tough midfielder who quits football at 35.
- Aarno Turpeinen (Retired)
Former international defender Turpeinen quits after almost 400 games in the Veikkausliiga.
- Patrik Rikamaa (Atlantis)
Rikamaa is a 21-year old defender who was brought in from Klubi-04 in January. Was later released to Atlantis.

The U21 winger has not played football in nearly two years and now moves back to IFK hoping for a new breakthrough.
- Timo Peltola (TP-47)
Striker Peltola proved to be a flop at IFK after signing from GBK a year ago.
- Marcus Lindholm (Hammarlands IK)
The defender didn't feature in any games last season. Joins Hammarland in the Third Division.

saresti in grado di sintetizzare e di dire quali sono le squadre secondo quello che si dice che possono contendersi il titolo? e quali attrezzate per fare un campionato tranquillo e chi deve puntare alla salvezza?
penso che sia essenziale chiarire questi punti per farci un idea.

Premetto di non avere l'opportunita,al contrario di allsvenskan e superettan,di vedere le partite di questo campionato,ne'di leggere l'idioma ne'tantomeno di avere conoscenze in loco.

TAMPERE-LAHTI e HJK(nobile decaduta).
