From Euroleague.net
Polish champion Prokom Trefl Sopot inked guard Igor Milicic for the remainder of the season. Milicic (31, 196) previously played in Prokom during the 2001-02 season. He has also played in Poland with Anwil Wloclawek, with whom he won the Polish championship. The veteran guard began his career in his native Croatia where he played for Rijeka and Split. Other stops in his career include Iraklio Kreta (Greece), Tuborg Izmir (Turkey) and Dexia Mons (Belgium). Last season Milicic played for Turk Telekom, where ha averaged 4.2 points and 1.3 assists per game. He began this season in Russia with Enisey Krasnoyarsk, where he posted 9.7 points and 4.2 assists per game.

Partizan against Roanne without its fans
The Serbian champ Partizan will have to play the next Euroleague's game at home in front of empty stands in the sport's hall Pionir according to the news from the club...
The decision came from the Euroleague which punished Partizan for the last game played at home when fans were throwing solid things on the court which is an automatic violation of the ULEB rules. The punishment refers to the game against Roanne scheduled for Wednesday, December 19th

Tau's Igor Rakocevic, out 2-3 weeks with muscle injury
The consequences of the tough duel between Tau Ceramica and Olympiacos in Week 8 showed early after the showdown. On Thursday, the very same morning after the game, Tau Ceramica announced that guard Igor Rakocevic suffered an muscle injury on his right leg abductor and will be sidelined between two and three weeks. Rakocevic will therefore miss the next Tau game at Virtus VidiVici Bologna and will not be back in the Euroleague until 2008. If the recovery period goes as planned, Rakocevic may be able to re-appear against Prokom Trefl on January 3. So far, Rakocevic has played 8 Euroleague games this season with an average of 16.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He ranks 12th among the best scorers this season.
