Io ho trovato queste sul Genk
In tedesco........
RC Genk - AA Gent
in Inglese.....
Racing Genk dismissed their coach Sef Vergoossen this week after a poor run from the team. The fans demand that for a long time and now it happened. Yet, the board and the coach separated in friendship. For the moment, the assistant coach will take the role of coach. This dismissal can mean a relief for several players and might bring some fresh airflow amongst the squad.
There are several reasons for me to back the home team. First of all, their home performance is usually good for about 20000 fans.
Home records:
4. ( 6) Genk 14 9 4 1 27 - 8 31
The unique defeat they catched at home was against Anderlecht. They don’t play superb games all the time at home, but they show fighting spirit and motivation for their home-crowd.
Second reason is the dismissal of the coach: some players will feel relieved and released.
Last reason, but a very important one: Gent will have to field an unpublished defence line. Their best defenders Ndikumana (who is in a real good form), Peeters and Van Hoyweghen are unavailable. De Brul is still injured too (long term). Midfielder Ribus is injured and another good midfielder Verschuere is not sure to play. Upfront, Gent have got problems since the beginning of the season. To prove that: their best forward is De Brul: a (central) defender! In the winterbreak they hired Cavens from Standard, but he’s not good enough. Another forward, Mrdakovic who scored 4 goals, returned to his country last week.
Gent are not a poor away team:
5. ( 9) AA_Gent 14 4 5 5 14 - 16 17
Yet, they miss their best weapon tonight: their defence will be chaotic if all these players are absent. Genk have the 5th best scoring average in the league, Gent allows 1 goal on average this season and scores 0.93 goal/match. Lack of scoring ability and problems in the defence: everything seems to be in favour of the home team who have got some good forwards. Roussel and Vandenbergh will have to do it. Kpaka is injured.
Genk is on a 4 non-winning streak: it’s time to stop this streak. The players know that they need a good game plus the 3 points to get back on the tracks. Genk have got the better creative players like Thijs, Beslija and Chattelle to break the opposition, plus fantastic strikers Roussel and Vandenbergh if they have a good day.
Gent have nothing to play for, their only motivation will be that Genk is still one of the best teams in Belgium, so a topteam. Genk will have more motivation reasons so a home win is the most likely result.
Sullo Standard
Clash tonight at Sclessin! Two of the best teams will match and the odds are slightly in favour of Standard as they have got the home advantage and Anderlecht are in a lees good period. Both quite impressing stats we see here. However, Anderlecht are facing a tough period. Club Brugge are coming up thanks to a smashing 10 winning-streak. Club are 11 points behind the leaders now. So Anderlecht shouldn’t waste many points anymore. You can see that Standard isn’t performing superbly lately. Of course, the visit of the leaders will boost their motivation to deliver a solid performance.Anderlecht are not in a good period, due to some players who are feeling tired plus they already thought that they had won title. This clash will wake them up for sure.
The pressure will be high at either teams, yet, Standard might feel more pressure as it is their last chance (ok, what is a last chance) to catch up with Club Brugge for the second spot (champions league).
Injuries?
Standard will miss Bangoura (att, 5 goals) and Sorondo (regular/key def). Mpenza heard this week that he will have to explain his misconduct after the match in Gent. It might influence his preparation for this game.
Jestrovic is absent due to a red card-ban, but all the other players are available for coach Broos.
Both teams need a good result and I think that Anderlecht won’t loose this game. The odds with level ball are above 2.00 (highest 2.15) and this is a standard-bet imo, I just have to take this at those odds.
Pointbet offers +1/4 for Anderlecht at 1.91, I’ll take this one.
