Young Heart Manawatu - Waitakere United 15.11 ore 02:00
*Sunday’s match between Waitakere United and YoungHeart Manawatu in Palmerston North is something of a trainspotters dream.
There are near-milestones for players across the park for a start. Adam Cowan will make his 97th NZFC appearance – an all-time record – while teammate Nathan Cooksley will play his 48th match in the competition.
On the other side of the park, Waitakere United goalkeeper Danny Robinson will make his 49th appearance in the league.
On top of all of this, the two teams have a very even ledger in Palmerston North, with each side having won three clashes each and only drawing once.
On paper, it would seem that YoungHeart have the advantage going into the game on Sunday. Coach Bob Sova has the luxury of naming an unchanged side from the one that handed Wellington a 4-0 drubbing.
He will be hoping that this results in the same kind of service that four-goal hero Seule Solomon received two weeks ago.
“That result against Team Wellington means little now. That it was played two weeks ago. The impetus and good feel factor is gone. Having the break did us no favours, so it is like starting all over again,â€
